Ben Shapiro

Ben Shapiro is Co-Founder of The Daily Wire and host of The Ben Shapiro Show, which has ranked among the top ten podcasts globally since 2018 and is the leading conservative podcast in the United States.

Shapiro is the author of 17 books, including his latest New York Times bestseller, Lions and Scavengers: The True Story of America (and her critics). His works also include bestsellers such as The People vs. Barack Obama: The Criminal Case Against the Obama Administration, Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth, and others.

In addition to his writing and commentary, Shapiro is a #1 Billboard chart-topping rapper for his appearance on the hit track “Facts” with Tom MacDonald. He is also a recipient of the Spotify Creator Milestone Award for surpassing 100 million streams.

At age 17, Shapiro became the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in the U.S. when hired by Creators Syndicate. He later served as editor-at-large at Breitbart News from 2012 to 2016 and has since contributed to major outlets including Fox News, CNN, and Real Time with Bill Maher.

Shapiro graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA in 2004 and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2007. A dynamic public speaker, he has spoken at dozens of universities across the country, often representing the sole conservative voice in highly liberal academic settings. Clips of Shapiro in debates with leftists and Q&A sessions with students frequently go viral, especially those featuring his signature phrase: “Facts don’t care about your feelings.”

In 2015, Shapiro and Jeremy Boreing launched The Daily Wire, which rapidly rose to become one of the most influential news outlets in America. By 2021, it led all publishers in Facebook engagement, and in the same year, the company debuted its first original film, Shut In. In 2022, The Daily Wire expanded into streaming with DailyWire+, producing hit films such as What is a Woman?, Terror on the Prairie starring Gina Carano, and The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, alongside exclusive content from PragerU, Jordan Peterson, and others. The Daily Wire has since surpassed one million subscribers. The platform is also home to the decade’s top documentary, Am I Racist?.

In 2024, Shapiro testified before Congress on the dangers of coordinated online censorship. His testimony was instrumental in helping to shut down GARM (Global Alliance for Responsible Media), a corporate censorship cabal targeting conservative media.

A Los Angeles native now residing in Florida, Shapiro is also an accomplished violinist, devoted husband, and father of four.
